“Whether for the country or for individuals, we believe that education is one of the keys to achieving a future with better opportunities. Unfortunately, education in many rural areas of Indonesia still needs to be optimized. There are still many children who have not received the education they should. Either because of high school fees or simply because there are no schools in the area. Due to a lack of education, many children from poor families or from remote areas often do not even have the courage to dream about their future and to hope for good life opportunities. Another major problem is that many schools in Indonesia still suffer from poor infrastructure.”

Purpose

The aim was to spend four months there conducting workshops on personal growth and social skills for the children. The project leader had the opportunity to share her experiences, motivate the children, provide them with new perspectives, and empower them towards self-improvement.

The school building was in terrible condition, with numerous parts urgently in need of repair. The second objective was therefore to organize a renovation project for the school infrastructure to ensure that the children could have a healthier and safer learning environment.
